Where it started
Established in 1994, Regional Science High School for Region IX has been nurturing young minds in Science and Mathematics for more than three decades. From its beginnings at the Zamboanga City National High School Main Campus in Tetuan, RSHS-IX has grown into a distinguished institution located in Malasiga, San Roque, Zamboanga City. Through its commitment to academic excellence, scientific inquiry, and leadership, the school continues to inspire generations of Regionalians to innovate, discover, and lead.
What drives us
Regional Science High School for Region IX, in partnership with the Local Government Units, Barangay Council, Parents- Teachers Association, Supreme Student Government, Alumni Association and other school organization and stakeholders commit to develop responsible and morally upright Science- oriented leaders through relevant and globally competitive Science and Mathematics Education Programs.
